One of the greatest ethnic spectaculars and displays of Polish Pride in America! The annual Dyngus Day Buffalo Parade begins at 5pm at the Broadway Market and makes its way through the streets of the city's Historic Polonia District. Marchers will pass numerous Official Festival Halls including the Adam Mickiewicz Library and St. Stanislaus Church before concluding at the magnificent Buffalo Central Terminal. After the tour, take a ride of the Sobieski Vodka Shuttle as you "party hop" to over 10 venues in one of Buffalo's oldest neighborhoods.

Organizers of Buffalo’s annual Dyngus Day Parade have released information about five award categories for 2012 parade participants. Awards will be based on creativity, originality and spirit.
2012 Dyngus Day Parade Award Categories: Dyngus Day Capital of the World Award: To be awarded to a float or participating group that best visually depicts Buffalo's unique distinction as "Dyngus Day Capital of the World.” Best Use of Red & White: To be awarded to the float or participating group that most effectively uses the colors of Polonia to decorate a float, vehicle or costume.
Best Use of Pussy Willows: Will challenge participants to make a float or a costume out of pussy willows or to use the most pussy willows in their parade entry. Best Musical Performance: Awarded to the most animated, colorful and unique musical parade performance. From polka bands to kazoo choirs, all are eligible. Best Family Float or Group:A great way to get Grandma in the Parade! The Dyngus Day Parade encourages families to march as a group or to particiapte with a family float. This award will go to the family that best demonstrates thier collective Polish Pride.
